How Does Go Live to Squash Cancer Work?

This year, Squash Cancer will be a week-long virtual Squash Cancer “go-live” event featuring PSA, SDA and WDSA pros as well as squash enthusiasts, with proceeds benefiting cancer research and patient supportive services at Dartmouth and Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Norris Cotton Cancer Center.

It is a virtual event combining virtual fundraising with in-person participation, but on an individual level where participants play in their own safe space. Participants will “go live” on their social media platform of choice to show off solo practice or a squash match in the name of SQUASHING cancer. Participants will register to be on the “go live” schedule during the last week of October (so others can tune-in), and will ask viewers to make a gift to The Friends of Norris Cotton Cancer Center on their behalf during the live session. We will be monitoring the live chat and including links to donate directly.

Squash Cancer is typically a fun and competitive squash tournament held at Berry Sports Center at Dartmouth. We plan to resume this tournament when players can safely return to the court!
