WAYS TO PROUTY: Cycling

Join us and be a Prouty Cyclist on Saturday, July 14, 2018. No matter how skilled or ambitious you are, there is a scenic and well-supported Prouty route for you. We offer 20, 35, 50, 77, and 100-mile routes. There’s even a Metric Century Gravel ride (64 miles), where you can tour the best less-traveled roads in the area with 40k (25 miles) of hard-pack dirt riding. Be prepared to have fun, but note that riders are expected to be experienced with a higher level of self-sufficiency.

Aside from the Gravel Metric Century, The Prouty™ does not organize a mass start for bike rides, however, we recommend that you follow the guidelines below for choosing your start time.

  • 77 and 100-mile riders: 5:00-8:00am
  • 20, 35, and 50-mile riders: After 8:00am
  • Metric Century Gravel Ride: 7:00am rider-led mass start from the Prouty venue.

Please note, all riders are asked to return to the Prouty venue by 4:00pm, after which, all road support concludes. There will be designated checkpoints for longer rides, which you must reach, or you will be redirected to a shorter route.
