WAYS TO PROUTY: Walking
We are conquerors, survivors, and friends crossing the finish line for everyone who has been affected by cancer. Join us and be a Prouty Walker on Saturday, July 14, 2018.
Our residential and wooded walking routes take in exciting destinations such as historic Hanover, Dartmouth College, the Connecticut River, Montshire Museum and scenic Oak Hill. Check out the maps here.
Dogs are allowed at The ProutyTM subject to following the Prouty Pup protocols. Dog owners must register their dog at the Prouty Pup Tent upon arriving at the event site (Richmond Middle School).
Walkers can choose from Audrey’s 3k walk, residential or wooded walk routes:
- Audrey’s 3k Walk was purposely designed to be a shorter and more manageable route, whether for families with young children or participants dealing with the effects of cancer treatment. Participants will walk to and from Kendal at Hanover, finishing at the Balloon Arch Finish Line.
- Residential walking routes are 3k (Audrey’s Walk), 6k, 9k and 12k in length and offer moderate-to-medium level of difficulty
- Wooded, shady walking routes are 5k and 10k in length and offer moderate-to-challenging level of difficulty
For safety, late-day redirect checkpoints will be in effect to help ensure that walkers return by 3pm.
